• Follow-up on Fixed Asset Register Items that no longer exist and need to be disposed of
• Investigate Potential of Accounts Payable Purchase Discounts
• Catch-up/Plus-up of Gravity Database
• Assistance with Concentrate Assay Exchange Process (i.e. entry, analysis, change, recording, etc.)
• Variance Analysis & Follow-up for Concentrate Assay Exchanges
• Freight & Selling Expenses Tracking & Analysis
• Concentrate Freight
• Assay/Umpire Assay Costs
• Draft Surveyor & Sampling Costs
• Sales Directories Review and Maintenance
• Active Directory Cleanup and Update
• Phones and Phone Extensions Audits
• IT Network Port Mapping
• IT Supplies Organization

Job Description
R&M Engineering, Inc. is looking for an Accounting/Business Administrative intern. This will be a unique opportunity to work a busy civil engineering firm. The incumbent will gain valuable experience in project management accounting and other office administrative tasks as they will assist in setting up new project management and accounting software.

Responsibilities:

Setting up and revising chart of accounts

New project set up

Data transfer

Aging/Accounts Receivable/Billing

Quickbooks and BillQuick software set up (data entry)

Accounts payable

Payroll assistance

Additionally this position will assist with phones and front office help for a small portion of the summer.
