Hands-on learning experiences and real life projects delivered through online virtual networks.

With the ever-changing nature of information systems fields, our occupational endorsements emphasize the development of skills that will serve our students and the organizations they join well into the future.

The occupational endorsements prepare individuals to secure entry-level employment in positions requiring information technology and administrative support skills.

"CIOS classes prepared me with the skills many businesses are looking for, especially the CISCO networking courses. THE UAS CIOS classes utilized a virtual networking program where I was able to logon remotely to a network I had created and practice the skills I had just learned in class." - Richard Darrington, AAS CIOS

Computer Information & Office Systems O.E.

The Information Systems department offers occupational endorsements in Administrative Office Support, Network Support and Administration, and Web Development. These occupational endorsements are intended to indicate competence in technical and professional courses. Choose an emphasis area in:

Administrative Office Support
The Administrative Office Support endorsement provides students with the skills to serve as administrative office assistants.

Web Development
The Web Development endorsement provides students with comprehensive web development skills leading to self-employment or introductory employment in the web development field.
