What is the Advancement to Candidacy?
The Advancement to Candidacy is the official contract between you and the University of Alaska that your course of study, including all electives and transfer courses, is acceptable for meeting the requirements for the Master of Public Administration degree. List all the classes you have taken in the program, what semester you took them and what your grade was. Additionally, list the classes you plan on taking and when you plan on taking them.
Approval of this form by the Graduate Dean confirms to you that your choice of electives and any transfer courses you have taken or plan to take, meet the degree requirements.
