SOM Career Panel and Networking
The UAS Alumni and Development office, School of Management, and Career Services office invite you to a Career Panel and Networking event on Thursday, October 22 from 5:30 - 7:00 pm at KTOO’s @360 space. The event will be live-streamed and recorded for those who cannot attend the event in person or would like to view the panel at a later time. The panel features local professionals from a range of entities – small businesses, corporations, and city, state, and federal employees.
The goal is to help you – current students and alumni – advance your career interests and goals. Come enjoy appetizers by Abby’s Kitchen and a no-host bar and receive expert advice on topics including:
Tips on promotion and advancement
- How to make career changes
- Job search information: including resume building and interviewing skills
- Master's degree: Is it really necessary? How will it benefit my career options?
- How do I get my foot in the door with the state, federal, or local government agencies?
- Networking: Best practices
In addition, there will time for attendees (both in person and online) to ask the panelists questions. Following the panel, you will have the opportunity to network with panelists and other participants. More information on how to access the live-stream or recording will be available prior to the session.
*Online participants who submit a question for panelists will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card.*
