United Way Day of Caring
Saturday, April 21, 2007, 8:30am - about 2:00 PM
Join us in helping the following agencies:
* Gastineau Human Services - Need 6 volunteers for painting
* Girl Scouts - Need 3-4 volunteers to assemble metal shelving units, sort & organize storage room within Council office to prepare for Girl Scout camps.
* Helping Hands - 3 -4 at each for a canned food drive at Fred Meyer & Super Bear.
* Southeast Regional Resource Center - Need 2-3 to serve a pancake breakfast at Cedar Park from 10-11:30 in the community center. Afterwards, weather permitting paint playground cubby, 4 square and hop scotch or help with an inside project (TBA).
* Wildflower Court - Needs maximum of 9 to help organize a storeroom
Lunch provided. Bring your water bottle.
We are meeting at the Student Housing Lodge, then will work on transportation from there to the volunteer locations.
