Leslie Gordon, Sitka Health Information Management Program Director, was elected to serve a 2 year term on the Alaska Health Information Management (AKHIMA) Board of Directors as a First Year Director. AKHIMA was founded in 1969 with the mission to promote the art and science of health information management by achieving and maintaining high standards of competency, developing education programs and promoting professional growth.
