Money raised at the event supports UAS Sitka scholarships. The tournament took place on Saturday, July 25. David George, Kirk McAllister, UAS Personnel Director; Brian Bergman, and Pat Gorman swung through as the winning team and were presented with golfing jackets. Two other UAS teams participated consisting of Chancellor John Pugh, Bob Love, RRANN Recruitment and UAS Student Success Coordinator, Dan Keck, former Mayor of Sitka, and Joy Branson, UAS Sitka Media Specialist. The other UAS team consisted of Sitka Campus Director Jeff Johnston, Betty Thornhill and Jesse Ricketts, both Registration/Instructional Support Specialists at UAS Sitka and Debby Sonneburg, UAS Sitka Business Office Manager.
Jesse Ricketts and Brian Bergman won the roundtrip Alaska Airline tickets. A fun time was had by all and it was a great way to spend a sunny Sitka afternoon.
