MBA capstone and SIFE team wins award at regional competition in SF
Save the date. The MBA Capstone UAS Online Alaska Business Plan Competition will be Monday, May 3rd (6pm-8:30 pm).
Judges from the Alaskan financial community will review business plans and presentation from this semester’s MBA Capstone class. Students are working with the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory to commercialize technologies that have been developed in the lab.
Cash prizes will be awarded. Sponsors to date include TEAM (The Entrepreneurs and Mentors Network) and AIDEA (Alaska Industrial Development and Export Authority). Please see the links below for more information:

UAS SIFE Team Wins 2nd Runner-Up Award at Regional Competition in San Francisco

UAS School of Management students Toby Harbanuk and Barbara Mulford earned 2nd Runner-up honors at the Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) regional competition in San Francisco on April 6th. Toby and Barbara presented a portfolio of work that UAS students completed this year related to entrepreneurship, financial success skills and sustainability.
