Forms in Early Modern Utopia: The Ethnography of Perfection
English faculty Nina Chordas is pleased to announce the publication of her new book, Forms in Early Modern Utopia: The Ethnography of Perfection. The book explores both fictional utopias and real-life utopian experiments in the Americas of the 16th and 17th centuries, making connections between the forms that make up these utopias (ethnography, travel writing, dialogue, sermonic writing) and the beginnings of European imperialism. The book is available from Ashgate Publishing Group. www.ashgate.com.
