CHANGE IN SPRING CONVOCATION DATE ON JUNEAU CAMPUS—NEW DATE 1/21/2011
In consultation with Faculty Senate President Sherry Tamone we’ve decided to move Spring Convocation on the Juneau Campus to a new day: Friday, January 21, 2011. The reason is that there are only five working days between the New Year holiday and the start of Spring semester on Monday, January 10.
In light of this, Convocation will take place on Friday, January 21, from noon to 5pm (lunch provided). The special focus of this Convocation is in beginning a faculty-led process of updating Program Assessment Plans/Student Learning Outcomes for all UAS academic programs. These are required for NWCCU accreditation. The goal is to have these updated no later than April 1, 2011. Details to follow…
UAS STRATEGIC AND ASSESSMENT PLANNING—TO BE COMPLETED BY JANUARY 2011
