Health Care Presentations to New Hires

Health Care Presentations, March Anniversaries and New Hires, Lincoln Financial Visit and Employee Assistance Program information.

Health care presentations set for April 6-7
UAS faculty and staff will have two opportunities to learn about upcoming changes to the university health care plan effective July 1, 2011.  Mike Humphrey, statewide Director of Benefits, will make the presentations and answer questions from employees.  The meetings will be in the media classroom (Egan 104) so employees from Sitka and Ketchikan can participate as well.  The times are:
Wednesday April 6 from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m.
Thursday April 7 from 2 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
The meetings will be streamed and recorded for later use.

Lincoln Financial visit scheduled for April
Chris Keyes of Lincoln Financial will be on the Juneau campus in April to meet with employees concerning their pension, ORP, or tax-deferred annuity investments at the following times and locations:
April; 6 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Egan 220
April 7 – 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Egan 115

Employee Assistance Program
Don’t forget the Employee Assistance Program is only a phone call away, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  For counseling services for employees and their families call the ComPsych GuidanceResources Program at (866) 465-8934 or go online at  The University of Alaska ID is GC5901Q.  You and your eligible dependents can receive up to six visits to a counselor per incident or issue free of charge plus ComPsych offers a variety of other services (including legal and financial) as well.
