Eleven JIRP students registered through the UAS Environmental Science program

The ongoing Juneau Icefield Research Program (JIRP) introduced 19 students, 21 faculty, 3 physicians, and 8 staff from all over the world to a broad range of glaciology, atmospheric science, glacial geology, climate science, and other pertinent academic topics this past summer. Eleven JIRP students registered through the UAS Environmental Science program instructed by co-faculty Cathy Connor and Icefield Director Jay Fleisher. The program successfully concluded with student presentations in Atlin, BC.
