Natural Resource Management emphasis area added to MPA program
The course will utilize case studies to analyze issues relevant to Alaskans.
The School of Management is excited to roll out a new emphasis area in
Natural Resource Management for the Masters of Public Administration degree
program. The Natural Resource Management
emphasis area addresses Alaska’s need, and strong demand for, professional
management training in natural resources and environmental management
issues. Kicking
off the new emphasis area is the Fall 2012 course offering, Local and Global Sustainability. Dr. Jim Powell will teach on the fundamentals
and framework for sustainability decision making related to institutional and
natural resource management issues. The course will utilize case
studies to analyze issues relevant to Alaskans.
