Marine Biology faculty member Heidi Pearson and student David House attended the 13th International Conference of the American Cetacean Society in San Diego, CA, Nov. 9-12.  House presented a poster entitled, "Comparing humpback whale group dynamics between the breeding and feeding grounds to create connectivity in research, education, and conservation".  This was a collaborative effort with a research group at California State University - Channel Islands, led by Rachel Cartwright.  David and his co-author from Cal State, James Grundy won Honorable Mention in the student poster competition.
