MPA Program building a network of public administrators across Alaska and the Yukon Territory
This growth and representation is very exciting not only for UAS but for our current and prospective students.
The School of Management’s MPA program is seeing high enrollment and admission numbers. MPA Director, Dr. Kathy DiLorenzo shares “our increased enrollment (an increase of approximately 40%) this year highlights the widespread participation our program has come to enjoy from communities across Alaska and the Yukon Territory.” Students enrolled in MPA courses represent Alaskan communities as far north as North Pole, west to Dutch Harbor and Unalaska, many southcentral communities including Valdez and Homer, and of course the southeast Alaska communities. Significant growth in student numbers from Juneau’s sister city to the north, Whitehorse in the Yukon Territory, has also been noticeable this year. “This growth and representation is very exciting not only for UAS but for our current and prospective students. We are looking forward to continuing the great connection our students have with their public administrator peers across the region,” added DiLorenzo.
