New UA Staff Alliance blog and Staff Development Day set

UA Staff Alliance Blog

The UA Staff Alliance has a blog set up for UA staff to voice their opinions/comments on various topics.  This blog is fast becoming a critical tool for communicating out to staff and for collecting input to take back to the UA administration.  There will be a lot of information coming out so the timing is great and we encourage you to check it regularly.

UAS Staff Council will be introducing a new award called UAS Staff Excellence (this is different from the Staff Makes Students Count Award) in Jan/Feb of 2013.  More information will be coming to you soon, so stay tuned.

UAS Staff Development Day

The Staff Development Day date has been set for 16 May 2013.  Please mark your calendar!  It is scheduled to be a regional affair and your Staff Council representatives are working hard on organizing this event.  More information will be coming soon!  If you are interested in helping please contact your Member-At-Large.

A couple of reminder dates to remember:  Staff Council Mtg 22 Jan 2013, Staff Makes Students Count Nominations Open on 25 Feb 2013, Nominations for Vice Pres Opens on 1 Apr 2013, Staff Trng w/Erika Van Flein on Healthcare (HOT TOPIC) FY14 3 Apr 2013 and Staff Development Day 16 May 2013.
