He’s held various positions on the Juneau campus for 30 years and has three UA degrees.
UA President Patrick Gamble has approved the permanent appointment of Michael Ciri to the position of Vice Chancellor for Administration. Ciri was a finalist in the previous recruitment, and has served as the acting, then interim Vice Chancellor since March, 2013. He’s held various positions on the Juneau campus for 30 years and has three UA degrees, including a Master of Public Administration degree from UAS in 2007. The Vice Chancellor for Administration is responsible for the following areas: Administrative Services (Human Resources, Budget and Grants, and Business Services), Information Technology (Information Systems, Infrastructure, and Academic Technology) and Facilities Services.
