UAS SustainabilityA Timely FocusA panel on sustainability and workshops on creating more energy efficient living spaces were included in the annual UAS Staff Development Day held May 9 on the Juneau campus. The topic is especially timely as Juneau reels from quintupled energy rates after an avalanche temporarily wiped its primary hydropower source. The panel discussion noted that several UAS classes across disciplines incorporate sustainability.
