I want to attend UAS for a few semesters and then transfer somewhere else, what do I need to do?^
The first step you should make is by contacting the instituion you are transferring to. You will need to talk to them about their degree requirements, and how our courses will transfer to their instituion. Not all courses will transfer from UAS to another university, even if the courses have the same name, or course numbers.
After you have spoken to the institution you will transfer to, you can make an appointment with an academic advisor by calling (907) 796-6000. A UAS Academic Advisor can help you look at the courses you are able to take based on what the other institution has said will transfer. They will be able to to help you build a course schedule and assist you with any issues you may be having while attending UAS.

I just want to transfer to UAA or UAF, though... isn't it all the same?^
No. UAA and UAF are both different Universities from UAS. Although we all fall under the UA system, we are a seperate University. You will still want to go through the same procedure when transferring from UAS to UAA or UAF as if you were transferring out of the UA system.
