Welcome to the Learning Center, the distinguished center of academic support that's celebrated among the most popular study spots at UAS. Each year, hundreds of students make the LC their center of academic life, coming both to consult our tutors on homework questions and to team up with other students facing the same challenges as themselves.
Tutoring
It is our philosophy that students learn best when they study together; some of the best exchanges of ideas and insight occur in peer-driven settings. That's why we employ over 20 talented students in math and writing to offer their insight, support, and tips on studying.
Review Online!
Part of our commitment to helping students succeed at UAS is providing students with resources they can access while away from school. We offer a growing collection of math review problems, grammar workshops, and language links available online.
The Testing Center
The Learning Center operates a proctoring facility called The Testing Center, where students and members of the community can take exams from distance courses, national organizations, and even UAS classes.
Placement tests are also available at the testing center. No appointment required!
The Think Tank
The Learning Center has a hip new student lounge called The Think Tank. Egan 105 is designated for student use and is outfitted with computers, couches, lamps, and a kitchen. Periodically, the Learning Center offers workshops in the Think Tank. Visit our Events page to see what's coming up.
