The Testing Center

Faculty Click Here

Adjacent to the Learning Center is a room called The Testing Center. This is a large, quiet room in which students and members of the community can have exams administered under direct supervision. The space is monitored by our proctors and security cameras at all times during business hours.

Placement Tests

All UAS students entering into Math or English courses are required to take a placement test. No appointment necessary! Just come into the Learning Center and ask for a placement test, or follow the link to learn more.

UAS Exams

Taking a UAS class? If so, your course instructor may choose to offer their exams in our testing center. What are the advantages? Many teachers want their students to have additional time to complete an exam -- more than the class schedule allows. Check with your course instructor to find out if the testing center will be used for your course exams.

Distance Exams

If you're taking a distance class, you'll need to find an exam proctor...like us! Follow the link to learn how to make The UAS Testing Center your proctor.

National Tests

GRE, PRAXIS, CLEP, BAR, and many other acronymic offerings.

Study Tip: Be sure to check out web resources dedicated to helping students prepare for national tests:

The Test Prep Review site links to over 70 practice tests for  ACT, CLEP, GRE, and Praxis.

The Study Guide Zone offers free resources for students, beginning professionals, and anyone else who wants to improve his or her score on a standardized test.

You can also find more online test preparation material by navigating through the Statewide Library Electronic Doorway. Just follow the links from Education & Training to the Testing & Education Reference Center (TERC).
