National Testing
The UAS Testing Center is certified to proctor many national tests, including: GRE, Praxis, CLEP, TOEFL, LSAT, and MCAT, in addition to health-related exams in dentistry, optometry, counseling, and fitness. You do not need to be a student to take a test. The Testing Center serves the entire Juneau community.
All national testing candidates have to register through the testing company, not through the UAS Testing Center. Please use the links to most common test sites below to contact your testing company directly or visit the national testing schedule. We keep informational bulletins in stock; these packets clarify registration deadlines and fees and offer tips on test taking. For more information, contact Charles Salinas at 796-6348.
As computer-based testing is becoming more and more common, many national tests, such as GRE general and TOEFL are most commonly offered on computer. Due to Juneau's limited population and unique location, the UAS Testing Center cannot become a computer-based testing site for all tests. However, because getting to a computer-based site is costly, we still offer paper-based versions of computerized tests on special dates. Please consult the current . National testing schedule.
