Letters of Recommendation

The more competitive colleges often request letters of recommendation from teachers, community leaders, and influential friends.

If a college does not ask for these, students need not feel obliged to send them.

You may also need to use letters of recommendation for scholarship applications. It is recommended to have 3 or 4 good letters of recommendations for your files.
