I am in the process of applying for many national, state, and local scholarships to assist in financing my college education. I plan to enclose several letters of recommendation and would be honored if you consider writing one for me.

The deadline of the first scholarship I am applying for is December 15, so it would be helpful if I could have your letter by November 15. You may either mail the letter or I will be happy to pick it up.

Enclosed are copies of my activities list and a brief resume to help you. If you need additional information please don't hesitate to contact me.
