TRiO Eligibility

Participation in TRiO is simple. The program requires you to be:

• A U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Alien
• Enrolled at UAS in a 2 or 4 year program
• Registered for 6 or more credits

Eligibility for the program is also based on meeting two or more of the following criteria:

• Be low-income or Pell Grant eligible
• Be a first generation college student (meaning neither parent has a 4 year degree)
• Have a documented disability (learning or physical)
