TRiO Program Participation

Participation in TRiO is totally voluntary. Our activities and workshops are designed to meet your student needs and to make resources available to you.

Keep in mind that your active participation in the program makes you eligible for additional resources like the TRiO scholarship and bus passes. Your active participation is evaluated against the following criteria on a semester basis:

• Initiate at least (3) contacts with TRiO staff, either in person or via e-mail
• Keep all contact and academic information current with TRiO office     
• Attend one workshop a semester
• Attend one cultural event a year; and,
• Access other resources like tutoring, equipment check-out, pre-advising or referrals if needed.
