TRiO Requirements

Once a student is accepted into the TRiO SSS Program, it is the responsibility of the student to complete the following requirements to be consider "active" and eligible for services.

All TRiO students are responsible to:

• attend three (3) advising meetings per semester with the Director and/or Academic Coordinator.  At least one of the meetings must be in-person;
• access at least five (5) TRiO services per semester to maintain  "active" status;     
• keep all contact and academic information current with TRiO office;     
• attend one workshop a semester; and,
  
• attend one cultural event a year.

New students (freshman), continuing TRiO students with a GPA below 2.5, students receiving TRiO tutoring services, and TRiO students on academic and/or financial aid probation students are responsible to complete the above participation responsibilities as well as:

•  three peer mentor meetings per semester with at least one meeting being in-person and,
• submit mid-term progress reports to the TRiO office each semester
