I love teaching at UAS. My faculty colleagues are intelligent and creative, strong in their fields; excited about teaching, learning and research and overall just great people. The students here are eager to make a difference in the world, challenge me every day and are a joy to teach. I have the freedom and support at UAS to pursue exciting new ideas and technologies in education. UAS is small enough for me to legitimately interact with faculty and students from disciplines outside my own, for example, business, outdoor studies and the natural sciences. I find this particularly rewarding and unattainable elsewhere.
