Juneau is where I live by choice. I’ve lived here happily for thirty years. Juneau is a remarkably beautiful place, with an outstanding community spirit.
Because of its small size, UAS offers students a level of contact with and access to their instructors that few universities can rival. I find working with UAS students to be deeply satisfying professionally and personally. The work is strenuous and the rewards are great.
