How do you think UAS is preparing you for your future?

Since it is one of my greatest goals to become a Professor of Creative Writing, taking classes taught by Professor Hayes and Dr. Chordas helps guide me on that path to being a successful student and professional.

Do you know what you might be thinking of for a career after college?

Professor of Creative Writing, or Editor in Chief at a fashion Magazine.

Do you have a favorite class or professor?

I love taking Creative Writing with Professor Hayes!

WHY UAS?

It is a great location with so much culture and beauty. I also love the smaller class sizes and the personal attention professors and staff give each student.

What is the most surprising thing you’ve learned about yourself at UAS?

I learned that I can appreciate the snow while still wearing three inch heels!

What surprised you the most once you arrived at UAS?

I thought UAS was the biggest campus in the UA system because it is in the capital in AK, however, now that I’ve been to all three major campus, I prefer UAS’s size to all the others.

What is the most fun you've had at any campus event?

I loved Global Gala!!! It was great to see all of the cultures that UAS students hail from.

What is the best thing about life at UAS?

The cheap snowboarding passes to Eagle Crest!!!!

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?

Shopping, reading, writing, dancing, skateboarding, and snowboarding.

Learn, Engage, Change!!!!
