UAS holds me to a high standard while nurturing my identity.

I will be teaching Tlingit language and art and maybe go into public administration.

UAS is the only college where I have the resources to build my career the way I need to.

What is the most surprising thing you’ve learned about yourself at UAS?

I'm bossy.

What surprised you the most once you arrived at UAS?

I was surprised by how diverse my peers were.

What is the most fun you've had at any campus event?

The polar bear plunge was a blast and worked wonders for my dreadlocks

What is the best thing about life at UAS?

Everything at UAS is within walking distance.

What do you enjoy doing during your free time?

I love hiking, fishing, kayaking, kickball, art, and music.

Education at home!
