Whether your teaching is being evaluated as part of the tenure and promotion process or you’re simply looking to grow and develop your practice, tracking your teaching performance is essential to your continued progress. There are many methods of documenting teaching, ranging from peer review to reflection. To learn more, check out the resources below, attend a CELT workshop, and/or contact CELT staff for one-on-one guidance and support.

Teaching Squares

Teaching Squares are small, multi-disciplinary groups of faculty who observe each others' classrooms and use those observations to inform their own teaching practice. Teaching Squares is a non-evaluative and easy way to improve your teaching and learn new techniques and strategies for the classroom. If you would like to participate in the Spring 2019 Teaching Squares cohort, please add your name to the sign-up spreadsheet before 5pm on Friday, January 25th. You can learn a bit more about Teaching Squares through this article from Faculty Focus.
