Biography:

I have taught math at the secondary level (7-12) for 28 years and at the college level for 9 years (both online and face-to-face).

My main interest in the area of math is to help students approach it without fear and trepidation and gain the confidence that they can be successful.  My other interests include creating an online teaching environment that allows relationships to be developed between the instructor and student as well as help students thrive in this online environment of which many seem to be frightened. Other interests include hiking the trails of the Kenai Peninsula, Kayaking, drinking vast amounts of coffee, and spoiling my grandkids.
