Covid-19 Operations

The UAS Ketchikan Campus Library is open Monday – Friday from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

Additionally, library staff are available for research, database, and e-collections assistance by phone, email, and one-on-one Zoom conferencing. Finally, one of our staff members hosts a library-centered Discord server that students may ask to join. The server allows students to reach that staff member outside of normal business hours and gives centralized, easy-to-use access to chat, voice, video, and desktop sharing options.

The staff at the UAS Ketchikan Campus Library provides assistance in locating facts, refining a research strategy, focusing a topic, and selecting the appropriate databases or other resources. Either stop by the Library, call us at (907) 228-4567 or (888) 550-6177 from anywhere in Alaska, or chat with us from the icon at the bottom of our web pages, left hand side.

You may also send questions using our online form. A response to your query will be sent as quickly as possible, usually within 24 hours, between approximately September 1 and June 30 of each year. The library has reduced hours from early May until late August each year.
