R.E. Robertson Memorial Fund, est. 1992
This fund is designated for the purchase of resources on Alaska archaeology, anthropology, history, culture and the like. Resources for these subjects include several periodical subscriptions. This fund is specifically for the purchase of resources supporting fisheries and marine sciences. See a sampling of Swanson collection purchases.
William P. Johnson Memorial Endowment Fund, est. 1990
This fund is for library materials with no restrictions on selection or placement. This fund is usually used to purchase reference collection resources otherwise beyond the library budget. Where possible, selection is focused on titles likely to be relevant for some time. See a sampling of Johnson fund purchases.
Mary Lou King Fund for Basketry
Donation from Mary Lou King, a Juneau resident and basket weaver, for the purchase of books and videos on traditional basketry and woven arts. Purchases from this fund were made between 2006 and 2008. Ms. King also donated books to the library from her own collection. Two baskets by Ms. King are featured in the Northwest Coast Art display on the lower level of Egan Library. See the King selections.
