Fall Convocation AY 2019-2020 (Academic Year 2020)
UAS conducts convocation ceremonies before each fall semester. Convocation, a formal assembly of university members, is used to promote collaboration between faculty and staff at the university. It also serves to welcome new faculty and introduce them to UAS policy and operating procedures.
Academic Year 2020 Fall Convocation will be held at the Juneau Auke Lake Campus on August 13-14, 2019. Staff in Ketchikan and Sitka can view the large group sessions (including Title IX training) and submit questions via the YouTube links embedded in the agenda. Questions about Convocation can be directed to the Provost's office at 796-6147.
