UAS Evening at Egan Speaker Jason Gootee to present “Health Insurance in Alaska,” November 5

The annual fall lecture series Evening at Egan continues this Friday, November 5 at 7 pm with a virtual presentation by Jason Gootee. Gootee will provide a look at the 2022 environment for health insurance in Alaska. Gootee has worked for more than 15 years in the health insurance industry and is widely recognized as a thought leader and civic influencer, deeply committed to helping communities transform the way they provide and pay for healthcare. He currently serves as Vice President of Strategic Market Development at Moda Partners, headquartered in Portland, Oregon, and serves on the UA Foundation Board of Directors.

This year due to the COVID-19 pandemic all Evening at Egan events will be offered virtually using Zoom. The full line-up of speakers and registration links is currently live on the Evening at Egan website. Once registered, a link is provided to the participant. After each event, the lectures are posted to the UAS YouTube channel. These videos can also be accessed via the website, with the button for each lecture changing its label from “free registration” to “watch video.”

  • November 19 — “I too yei yatee - It is within you: Generational Trauma & Resiliency” with Renee Tl'aagunk Culp, Juvenile Justice Coordinator, Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska
