Mission
The mission of the Admissions Office is to encourage prospective students of all ages and backgrounds to pursue an undergraduate education at the University of Alaska Southeast and assist undergraduate and graduate students through the admissions process.
Undergraduate Admission:
a. Choose a program

b. Apply for Admissions
- Pay the Application Fee:
$40 Certificate and Associate;
$50 Bachelor
c. Submit Official Transcripts:
- Partial and Final High School transcript, or GED
- Final College and University transcripts from all previous institutions.
- Submit official ACT or SAT scores
Undergraduate Admission Requirements
Some programs require additional documents for admission and have different submission deadlines, please make a note when researching your program.
a. Bachelor Degrees
To qualify for admission to baccalaureate programs, a student must satisfy at least one of the following:
- Graduation from high school with a GPA of at least 2.50 and completion of either the SAT or ACT; or
- Graduation from high school with a GPA of 2.00-2.49 and an SAT score of 1290 (or higher) or an ACT score of 18 (or higher); or
- Successful completion of the GED, and completion of either the SAT or ACT; or
- Completion of at least 30 college level semester credits with a GPA of at least 2.00 and a high school diploma or GED; or
- Completion of at least 60 college-level semester credits with a GPA of at least 2.00
b. Associate or Certificate Degrees
To qualify for admission to certificate or associate programs, a student must satisfy one of the following:
- Graduation from high school with GPA of at least 2.00; or
- Successful completion of the GED; or
- Completion of at least 30 college level semester credits with at least a 2.00.

- Professional resume or vita (MAT, MEd, MPA)

- Praxis I exam results (MAT)
- Signed waiver (MAT)
