UAS General Support (20642) - Your gift goes to the area of greatest need. These funds are used for many purposes: to supplement existing named funds, or start new endowed funds as well as general scholarships, depending on the needs determined by the current Chancellor. You can also give specifically to Ketchikan General Support (20290) or Sitka General Support (20241).
UAS General Scholarship Support (20104) - Your gift helps students at UAS achieve their educational goals.
Power Learners (20752) – Your gift to this new fund supports the various UAS programs with faculty and/or students that work to improve reading, math and science skills of K-12 students.
Funds that need help reaching endowment level
These funds are trying to reach endowment level of $25,000, allowing them to provide annual scholarships in perpetuity.
Dick Freer and Burke Riley Memorial Scholarship (21005)- This fund was established as a memorial to these Alaskan pioneers, and will support students pursuing bachelor’s degrees at UAS.
Carroll Fader Maritime Scholarship Fund (20199) - Your gift helps create an endowment to provide scholarships for UAS Ketchikan campus students who are pursuing maritime careers.
Alaskero Heritage Scholarship Fund (20630) - Your gift will help create an endowment to provide scholarship assistance with preference for students of Filipino heritage or with a credible connection to the country or culture of the Philippines.
