Applicant must be enrolled in or applying to one of the following (in an aviation field), or a highschool senior applying to:

• Accredited college or university

• Licensed flight school

• Certified A&P program

GPA 2.0 or higher and 12 credits per semester must be carried.

Students and programs in sciences, especially earth and environmental sciences, are eligible for grants. Alaska Natives and other minorities are strongly urged to apply. Grants are awarded for a variety of expenses incurred by students. These may include internship support, travel and/or expenses related to workshops and science fairs, support needed to secure employment in science-related fields, or emergency needs. Application may be made at any time. Requests are given immediate consideration.

Application should be made by letter from a Sponsor. A Sponsor may be a teacher, advisor, or other adult familiar with the grant applicant’s situation. The Sponsor’s letter should describe the grant applicant, the nature of the financial need, and amount of grant requested. The letter should also include the Sponsor’s and applicant’s telephone numbers and addresses. A letter from the applicant and/or other supporting material would be helpful.

Recipient must: 

• be a resident of Southeast Alaska
• be a full time student attending the University of Alaska Southeast in a technology related program, such as power or heavy diesel maintenance with a minimum GPA of 2.0
• have a high school diploma or G.E.D.  
• have a long term interest in applying his or her major in the mining industry

Recipient should demonstrate motivation, and academic and leadership potential.

Recipient must be current or previous gradutes of Petersburg High School who are enrolled in Career Education or dual enrollment classes at the University of Alaska Southeas with a minimum GPA of 2.0.

Recipient must:

• be full-time undergraduate or graduate student and maintain a 2.5 GPA as an undergraduate and a 3.0 as a graduate
• plan to be admitted in or already be in good academic standing
• be a resident of Southeast Alaska
• at a minimum, be a high school graduate or equivalent, and about to enter or be enrolled in the University of Alaska Southeast 

Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating financial need. 

Applicants must be:

• full-time

• have a 2.0 GPA

• born in Alaska and

• must be an Alaska resident

Applicants must be committed to the development of business and commerce in Southeast Alaska, and must demonstrate motivation, and academic and leadership potential. Preference will be given to residents of Southeast Alaska with a 2.8 or higher cumulative GPA.

For this scholarship you must also complete the the UAS Supplemental Application to describe their commitment to the development of business and commerce in Southeast Alaska.

For this scholarship you must also complete the the UAS Supplemental Application to describe their intended career horticulture, floriculture, landscape design, conservation, forestry, botany, agronomy, plant pathology, environmental control, city planning, land management, alternate energy, and/or an allied field.

Each applicant must have a 3.0 cumulative GPA, and must demonstrate financial need. 

Must be full-time, upper division, business, economics or e-commerce students at the University of Alaska Southeast Juneau Campus. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average and be an Alaskan resident. 

Applicants must have earned a GED, admitted to applied for admission to a degree program at the Juneau Campus at UAS, must be a first-time freshman, and must plan to attend classes on at least half-time basis during Fall 2014 semester. 

The PEO Chapter D Ethel Montgomery Scholarship provides financial aid to full-time, returning degree-seeking students at the UAS Juneau campus. 

Applicants must be:

• junior, senior or graduate student, or in the second year of a 2 year certificate program
• resident of Alaska
• full-time student attending UAS Juneau campus
• have a minimum GPA of a 3.0
• demonstrate motivation, academic achievement leadership potential
• must be in good academic standing 

Preference will be given to students with dependents. 

Applicants must:

• be a Southeast Alaska resident
• be admitted to any degree program offered at the University of Alaska Southeast Juneau Campus
• have a minimum GPA of 2.5

Applicants will be judged on the basis of academic achievement, excellence in the arts, leadership potential, goal-oriented motivation and financial need.

This scholarship is open to students enrolled at the University of Alaska Southeast Juneau Campus.  Applicants must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Applicants must:

• be a Southeast Alaska resident
• be a full time UAS student
• a Freshman majoring in Business

Undergraduate applicants must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA; graduate applicants must have a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA.
