Whether you are just looking for a part-time job while taking classes, or if you have started job hunting for after graduation, the first place you should contact is Career Services.

Career Services is open to all UAS students. They can help you write a resume, fill out a job application, and even practice for that interview.

If you are interested in working on campus while taking classes:
  1. Meet with Career Services and update your resume, cover letter, and practice the interview process
  2. Check out uakjobs.com, and look for student positions on campus
  3. Check the campus bulletin boards
  4. Talk to the different departments on campus and ask if they are looking for student workers
If you are interested in working off campus while taking classes , or after graduation:
  1. Meet with Career Services and update your resume, cover letter, and practice the interview process
  2. Look on the web, check campus and town bulletin boards, read the classified section in the newspaper, check store windows, and attend  job fairs
  3. Let people know you are looking for a job - friends, family, staff, faculty, and businesses in your field of interest
  4. Don't give up, be persistent in applying for jobs
